Can you give me ways to help lower my car insurance, if i’m a new driver going on my grandparents?

they have all state..
i was wondering can i do defensive driving course or ANYTHING to lower the insurance cost?

Take driver’s ed. Drop comprehensive/fire/theft cover and get collision only.
Raise your deductible to as high as you can get them to go.
Ask them for a good student discount.
