What would be a good choice for a first car?

Hey, i am 17 and live in england. What would be a good choice for my first car?

I need low insurance cost, and not a expensive price for the car. What would you advise? I don’t want to look like a idiot, would preffer a "bad boy" looking car, that also sounds/looks good.
